This is my personal 2019 BEST moments.

I got to visit my favorite place on the planet 3 times this year (Sedona)
Once with the the big kids, once for my birthday and again to celebrate our 17 year wedding anniversary.

I hiked Fay Canyon, the Birthing Caves, Red Rock and West Fork Trail.

We flew to the PNW and drove up the PCH in Oregon and Washington.

Stood underneath Multnomah Falls, explored the Ape Caves in Washington, walked along Cannon Beach, got a milkshake at Tillamook Creamery and shopped in Seaside.

We went swimming in our own backyard, a lot!
We went on a stay cation in Phoenix with our whole family.

We had our second white Christmas as a family. We played in snow and got to snow tube in the most beautiful fresh white snow in the Arizona Mountains.

Took the girls to our favorite little farm in Prescott twice this year to pick strawberries and enjoy the great outdoors. Went on off-roading adventures as we became a part of the Jeep family this year.

Our family had one of the greatest and worst years.
We lost my sweet mother-in-law. So happy to have been able to fly up in May and spend some time with her. We will always remember that trip as the time grandma forgot to put lemon in the lemon pie.

Lessons Learned

  • Life is too short
  • Live life experiencing all the things in this world
  • Your kids are only little for so long
  • Create meaningful relationships
  • Don’t waste your life doing something that doesn’t bring you joy

In 2020, I have many goals that I want to achieve. I don’t have new year resolutions because those are like empty promises we make to ourselves. When you set goals you write them down and make them happen. Here is to a new year, new goals, new places and more joy.
